Less than 2 weeks to the start of the Portugal Windsurfing Grand Prix which begins on 6 May. Sines, a municipality in the Setubal region, will be hosting its first major windsurfing event; and long term IWA partners - Overpower Clube - are to be congratulated for securing the support of the town council and its many business sponsors.
The event is a two discipline racing regatta for Formula Windsurfing and Slalom. The world's top ten ranked formula racers in 2007 are attending, including last year's Portugal Grand Prix winner, Steve Allen (AUS0).

Flying in from Australia will be 3 times, and current, world champion Allison Shreeve (AUS 911). Allison will be staying in Europe to compete in Sopot GP before going home - but she will not be racing on her normal equipment. More news on May 1st!
