After a very heavy storm during the night the wind did not reach sailable conditions till 4.00 pm. After a heavy rain the wind kicked in with 45 knots from North/West.
The jury started the double elimination to see some very good action, but unfortunatelly the wind turned to 90 degree onshore, which makes it impossible to run a competition on the beach of Bredene.
The main reason why the jury decided to stopp the competition are heavy rocky wavebreakers in the water which are not able to be seen at this onshore windconditions.
For tomorrow the forecast still says 20 knots of NNW winds which means side onshore starboard tack.
