The bad luck somehow continues, so despite of very promising wind forecasts for this weekend for the beautiful aerea of Formio di Vindicio the wind never reached a reasonable force so that the jury could not run the competition.

The starting fleet was dominated by the Italian riders showing Matteo Guazzoni (RRD/Simmer) and Andrea Rosati (RRD / NP) as the top seeded riders just in front of Jakub Kosmowski (Tabou / Gaastra) and Ruben Petriesie (Exocet)

As mentioned before on the first two days of the competition the wind did not kick in at a reasonable level so the riders got a chance to relax on the wonderful beach of Formia di Vindicio.

On the last day of the competition the wind kicked in around 4 pm showing 15 knots on the scale. So the jury got ready within a minute to run the competition at the last possible minute. But unfortunately the wind died after 25 minutes so that it was not possible to come to any result.

The tour is now taking a 2 weeks break to move to Mykonos, so let's cross all our fingers that a new period of windy competitions is coming up now on the next stops, Mykonos, Rhodes - Prasonisi and Alacati.
