IFCA JY Freestyle Worlds - Day Four
Posted On:  25/06/2012 05:36:37

The 4th competition day started off slow with super light winds.  It was a perfect day for the local public to spend time on the beach, it got super busy right after lunch time and a sup (stand up paddle) contest was organized for everyone who wanted to join. The crowds enjoyed the sup contest, the skydivers dropping from the blue sky and the pounding sounds from the dj’s monitors.

Suddenly the wind shifted and slowly started to pick up, an announcement was made and the first heat scheduled was the Youths double elimination followed by the Juniors and the Pro kids.

In the first heat the conditions seems to get lighter and lighter and the gusts were not strong enough for an official freestyle competition so the first heat got cancelled and all riders were on standby until the winds would become better. A lot of spectators came to watch the kids while a super session was being organized with the whole fleet.

Wind got worse and the day was over.
