AFF Slalom/Waves Seniors pro/am French Championship 2011
Posted On:  04/11/2011 10:44:20

Last leg of the AFF Slalom/waves pro/am French championship this week in Six Fours, south of France. A national championship named "Classic Tour" by the FFV French Sailing Federation. 3 locations (Ile Rousse-Bastia Corsica in March, Loctudy-La Torche in April and Six Fours-La Badine Hyeres in October) and 4 great national champions 2011 (slalom/waves men/women).

Slalom: heavy battle in the top ten between the PWA world cup-ers, the IFCA riders and the national talents.
Men: A sharp ranking: 1 Julien Quentel, 2 Pierre Mortefon, 3 Damien Leguen, 4 Nicolas Warembourg, 5 Antoine Questel…..
Women: Fanny Aubet and Delphine Cousin won an event but the victory 2011 is for: 1 Marion Mortefon, 2 Camille Levos, 3 Fanny Aubet, 4 Marion Dussart, 5 Alizee De Souza . . .

Waves:
Men: First national senior title for 1 Jules Denel (mister table-front), 2 Mathieu Bono (president of the AFF and high back loop addict), 3 Julien Quentel
Women: An injured leg wasn't enough to stop 1 Fanny Aubet national champion, 2 Camille Levos, 3 Stella Fazi

Overall: no national FFV title but: the Bret's chips challenge!
Men: Quentel-Denel-Questel the right ticket
Women: Aubet-Levos-Mortefon to the top

After a new AGM the AFF championship will continue next year. First stop in Hyeres Almanarre in March, follow by Loctudy-La Torche in April and Final in St Malo-Britany in November. Stay tuned.
