For the second consecutive year, the minicipality presents the Brazilian Slalom Championships on 14/15 November at the mouth of the River Coreau.
The level of competition this year promises to be high. "We have the best in the country competing with top international stars," says the president of the Brazilian Windsurfing Association, Teka Lenz, "and the site offers a privileged view to the public who can get close to the competition."
Last year Ceara's Gabriel Browne fought a thrilling contest with William Schurmann - we look forward to a repeat performance. Also we have Alberto Menegatti from Italy, Gonzalo Costa Hoevel from Argentina and Kurosh Kiani from Denmark adding to the thrilling competition.
