For the third year running Member National Associations are invited to nominate one event, open to all competitors, to count towards the IFCA World Ranking List for Slalom.
This system, which provides a clear structure for the competitors, organizers, media and sponsors, is proving to be very successful so this year, for the first time, Member National Associations are also invited to nominate an additional event to count towards the new IFCA World Ranking List for Freestyle.
The benefits of being in the ranking is that
- the event will get extra publicity
- the event will possibly attract some international surfers
- national racers will appear in the International ranking
