All invited to join the UK National Windsurfing Festival

This year's National Windsurfing Festival will hit the shores of Hayling Island in the UK, once more, over 4/5th September. Now in its 5th year, its unique agenda is aimed to support the UK free-ride market with its friendly, unintimidating master blaster format. The addition of the onshore clinics, delivered by the UK’s finest windsurfing gurus and the largest assembly of windsurfing trade under one roof, this is a must visit event! The biggest event of its kind in the UK - with its regular 350 competitors and several thousand spectators all having fun. You don’t need the latest equipment as there are categories for pre 1985 and pre millennium equipment. You cane even enter the fancy dress category, or as a group enter the team event.

The individual entries are allocated to 2 main fleets -national and non-national (or freeride) fleet. Fantastic product prizes are awarded to freeride competitors after every race - each race is sponsored by a leading player in the industry. After a good day on the water, sit back with a beer watch the floodlights warm up in readiness for the spectacle of night windsurfing as the pros hit the water to once again to entertain the crowd. The evening concludes with the famous NWF beach party which participants are encouraged to join in the fancy dress theme being entertained by the band Heathrow Jets and their resident DJ.

For more information about entry, and extra party tickets, go to - www.nationalwindsurfingfestival.com

The first 300 competitors get a free NWF event rash vest.

"Its was my aim to deliver a mass participation event which was designed purely round the free-ride sailor and turn the spectator into the competitor . . . a winning formula provided with the assistance of the whole windsurfing trade. The largest mass participation windsurfing event in the country, which has sold out the last 4 years. So best book early to avoid disappointment."
